Fungal Infectious Diseases

Fungal infections often start in the lungs or on the skin. Fungi can be difficult to kill. Symptoms of fungal infection depend on the type and location of the body. Fungal infections may be mild, manifesting as rashes or mild respiratory problems. However, some diseases may be severe and can cause serious complications and death.
